Fortunately, there are products that you can paint inside your foundation to seal it. That is an exercise known as basement waterproofing. But how do you carry out basement waterproofing?

You need to use several tools to seal your foundation. The painting process will require a paintbrush, and you must apply the paint to the concrete. The paint will seal the pores. However, before painting, you must deal with big cracks or voids in the foundation. And how do you do that? You must mix water with hydraulic cement and apply the mixture to the crack. It will help seal all the cracks in your foundation so you can proceed with the painting exercise.

The seal hydraulic cement will sit in the hole, then expand tightly to stop water from entering the foundation. So, you will have formed a good waterproof seal in your foundation. Also, you need to thoroughly assess the situation outside your house to deal with moisture and dampness in your basement. Water flowing from the roof might be the absolute cause of the problem.
