A survey by Harris Poll was conducted for the National Association of Landscape Professionals. That survey was conducted amongst 2,034 United States adults, considered to be eighteen years or older, found that about three quarters of Americans, 75%, believe it is important to spend time in their yards. As a result, a growing trend in America is the styling and decorating of the outdoor and backyard area.
